Impact Award Winners 2007

Northamptonshire Casualty Reduction Partnership was founded in 1999 and has successfully and progressively reduced KSI (killed or seriously injured) casualties in Northamptonshire beyond all expectations. Furthermore, we can announce that government targets have been exceeded well in advance of the 2010 deadline date and, as a consequence, are now working towards a local stretch target.

This success has also brought recognition in the form of regular national and international road safety awards. In terms of enterprise and innovation we were awarded government Beacon Status in 2006, one of only six authorities or partnerships to be recognised as a centre of excellence in terms of reducing road casualties.

The Impact Awards have therefore been introduced in order to officially recognise the high value that the Partnership places on the collaboration and commitment from its partners towards reducing road casualties in Northamptonshire. There are many individuals, agencies and organisations that have, and continue to make, a major contribution towards this success. Many of those were rewarded on this night and others identified in the future.
We offer our sincere thanks and congratulations to those who have been chosen to receive an Impact Award.
