Drink Drive Rehabilitation Courses

  • These courses are available nation-wide as an option for magistrates to offer to drink-drive offenders at the time of sentencing. The offer includes a maximum 25% reduction of the driving ban if the course is completed successfully.
  • Courses are only run by government approved course organisers. These include partnerships, private training agencies, probation services, road safety groups and alcohol advisory agencies.
  • In Northamptonshire courses are run by a multi-agency team, which comprises Northamptonshire County Council Road Safety, CAN (local drug and alcohol advisory agency) and Northamptonshire Police.
