ROAD POLICING COMMITMENT
Northamptonshire Police is committed to deal with all forms of illegal and anti-social use of the roads in order that people can go about their daily lives without being harmed or intimidated. Our road policing strategy focuses on reducing road casualties, denying criminals the use of the roads and enhancing public confidence through high visibility patrols on our most dangerous routes (Red Routes). Our Road Policing Unit and Safety Camera Team are the lead departments within this strategy, with wide-ranging support from the whole force and underpinned by the Local Policing and Performance Plan.
